50 ohm Type N In-Series Adapters Description Maury precision in-series type N adapters are available in two configurations; a) series 8801 which are beadless (air dielectric), and b) series 8803 which have a low reflection teflon bead support. Both types are offered in all possible combinations; female to female, male to male, and female to male. They are furnished with precision 7mm type N connectors featuring stainless steel outer conductors for long wear, and gold-plated center conductors - of either hardened beryllium copper or brass - for low loss. These units exhibit low VSWR and insertion loss from DC to 18 GHz which makes them useful in a variety of precision measurement applications and general laboratory uses. For your added convenience, Maury also supplies selections of these adapters in kits (as described below). Each kit comes in an attractive wooden instrument case.
