Maury Unveils Its Newest Precision High Matching Range

ONTARIO, California, April 3, 2003
Maury Microwave has designed a new precision high matching range automated tuner. The new WLAN High Matching Range Tuner, model MT982E32, is designed for those engineers who are performing device characterization and design in the wireless bands. It is designed exclusively for Wireless LAN, Bluetooth, Wi-fi 802.11, and WCDMA applications. The overall frequency range of operation is 0.8 to 8.0 GHz, with a 15:1 matching range and features a high matching range VSWR of 30:1 from 1.8 to 2.8 and 25:1 from 4.9 to 6.0 GHz.
The new tuner can be used with automated tuner systems already in use or can be purchased as part of a new Automated Tuner System (ATS) where high performance is required in the wireless frequency bands. These new high matching range tuners utilize adapter plates designed specifically for use with Cascade Microtech's probe station for on-wafer applications. Maury Microwave has long been a leader in providing precision coaxial and waveguide automated and manual tuners used for device characterization measurements. The introduction of the MT982E32 tuner designed for wireless applications enhances the capabilities of Maury's automated tuner systems. The tuner is available for immediate sale.
