Maury Microwave Corporation Selected as Agilent Technologies' Channel Partner for Device Characterization
Maury Microwave Corporation and Agilent Technologies announced today that Maury has been selected by Agilent to be Agilent's Device Characterization Solutions Channel Partner. This announcement opens the way for Maury to team with Agilent in bringing advanced and complete measurement solutions to the device characterization and test industry. The companies intend to offer customers comprehensive measurement solutions including advanced software, increased equipment compatibility, turnkey solutions, and greater depth of support. For example, customers using Maury's automated tuner system (ATS) for device characterization, in combination with Agilent's high quality test instruments (network analyzers, signal sources, power meters, noise figure meters, spectrum analyzers, etc.) will gain the following benefits from the Maury/Agilent Channel Partnership: 1. A radical reduction in the duration of the measurement and design cycle for on-wafer component or packaged applications (resulting in faster product time-to-market). 2. The ability to optimize product performance by utilizing all the latest digital modulation techniques (such as wide band CDMA, for example) which are incorporated in device characterization setups based on a combination of Maury and Agilent instruments. 3. The ability to make meaningful measurements from the first day of operation is greatly enhanced because of the depth of knowledge and experience Maury engineers bring to an on-site installation of the ATS. Maury engineers are expert at using Agilent equipment in combination with the ATS. 4. The option of purchasing, from one source, a turnkey suite of Maury and Agilent test equipment fully configured and pre-tested by Maury and shipped "ready-to-use."
