Test Port Cable and Adapter Kits

Description

The cables in these kits come in standard lengths of 25 inches and 38 inches with a rugged female test port connector on one end and a rugged male test port on the other. They are extremely flexible while still maintaining excellent phase and amplitude stability.

The adapters in these kits have rugged female test ports and adapt to most popular coaxial connector types such as; 3.5mm, 7mm, type N, TNC, and 2.92mm. Waveguide to 3.5mm test port adapters are available in waveguide bands WR430 to WR28. A WR28 to 2.92mm test port adapter is also available.

Kits can be purchased with one or two cables and up to three adapter sets. Individual test port adapters or cables can also be purchased separately (click here for test port adapter specifications). Kits with more than three adapter sets can be configured to the customer's specifications.

Available Models

Maury Microwave offers the 8944, 8946 and 8946 series test port cable/adapter kits for Agilent and Anritsu vector network analyzers (VNAs). These cable/adapter kits are designed to mate with the rugged test ports of VNAs and serve as cost-effective solutions for two common problems. They satisfy the need to extend and protect the VNA test ports while maintaining phase and amplitude stability. At the same time, they provide users with a variety of test port connectors in different types.

The cable/adapter kits in these series mate with the 3.5mm, 2.92mm (8944 series), 2.4mm (8946 series) or 7mm (8948 series) rugged test ports found on most VNAs. Each kit contains phase- and amplitude-stable cables plus one or more user-selected set(s) of test port adapters in coaxial and waveguide types.



Cost Saving Features

The interchangeable nature of the test port adapters means that only one set of test port cables is needed with each kit. This eliminates the need to purchase multiple cable sets and saves money.

Maury test port adapters also save money by helping to prolong the lives of the VNA test ports and the cables. Once mated to a VNA test port or cable connector, an adapter can be left in place for connection to devices under test (DUTs). The wear and tear of multiple connections, disconnections, and reconnections is absorbed by the adapter and the VNA test port or cable connector is spared. Damaged or worn out adapters are much less expensive to replace than test ports or cables.
